Sofia's Birthday Bash!

We pulled out all the stops for Sofia's 7th birthday... upon her insistence of course. It had to be a princess party in the park replete with games, a pinata, and Sofia the first birthday cake. The kids hunted for treasure (their goody bags), tossed and later threw water balloons at each other, whacked the heck out of a castle shaped pinata, and played pin the tail on the dragon. Sofia's aunties graciously tatooed her friends' faces. Mommy made feeble attempts at balloon animals (although the incessant popping frightened many children away). Daddy built an honest to goodness treasure chest and made sure everything ran smoothly. A great (and exhausting) time was had by all!
