Sofia flew through the neighborhood on her broomstick demanding candy from unsuspecting neighbors last night. She pulled quite a haul. Her twin monkey brothers rounded out the Sims gang as her mischievious, doe-eyed accomplices.

Clap your hands

After spending a few hours at the Fall Festival today, the Sims kids wind down with some good ol' fashion hand clappin.' Tomorrow, it's off to the Palace to resurrect some Halloween adornments...sans the severed heads to the parents' chagrin.

Quick update: The boys had their 1 year preemie development check up (hard to believe they were preemies anymore) and got the official Stanford seal of approval. They are right on track for the average 12 1/2 month old, which is their adjusted age. Matthew weighed in at a whopping 16 lbs 10 oz and Nicholas is at 19 lbs 2oz. Matthew is saying "uh-oh" at the appropriate times on a regular basis (he drops a lot of stuff) and Nicholas apparently took his first steps. This is according to Dacien but I don't believe it as I was in another room. "If a baby takes his first step, and his mother isn't around to see it..." well, you get the idea.
Sofia is doing a bit better at Bing. She didn't shed a tear when I left her on Monday but she cried most of the way there, so you take what you can get.

So the wife is no artist, it's the thought that counts right?  

The little ones enjoy Daddy's birthday taco night.. by throwing their bowls high in the air and watching taco meat shower down like celebratory confetti.

Summertime Blue

The Sims Family finally makes it on vacation. Sofia really took to the boat squealing in delight the faster Daddy sped across the lake. The boys were less than thrilled with the wind but once we shielded them a bit, the boat ride was quite conducive to their afternoon nap!

Sofia had her first day at Stanford's Bing Nursery school this week. We managed to get exclusive interview footage of her reaction to the new school. On day 2, she didn't let Mommy leave her side. Mommy explained that Mommy can't stay with her all day next time. Sofia disagrees.
